We are a food bank that provides parcels of food, toiletries, cleaning products and fresh produce to those facing financial crisis.
We are not a long term solution but aim to work with individuals to resolve financial challenges and provide food and household support during that time.
Get Help
Rushden and Higham Food Banks both operate on a self referral basis. You do not need to be referred by someone to come and see us.
Visit us during our opening hours to get a food parcel.

Higham Ferrers Working Mens Club
You will need to go to the foodbank nearest to you. You may be asked for ID when you attend the foodbank.
We offer food parcels for people who are experiencing immediate financial crisis. This might be because you’ve lost your job, you are off sick, you’ve had a relationship breakdown or there have been delays in your benefits. It could be something else too.
You can receive up to 8 parcels in a years period and for this we do ask you for some paperwork and details. This is to help us help you, and help us keep a record of how many people we help, and why they have come to us.
If you need more than 8 parcels, we may ask you to work with us to try and resolve the challenges you are facing. This could be doing some budgeting work, working with you to resolve debt, looking at your benefits or asking you to work with another agency.
We do this because we have limited stock as we rely on donations, and because we do not want anyone to have to rely on a foodbank where they dont need to.

If you are parking, we would advise you park in St John’s Car Park, off of Duck Street. Our main front door is on the crossing on Church Street.
