Needed: An exceptional Executive and Board Assistant to support Spurgeons’ calling.

Want to be at the heart of a Christian children’s charity that transforms thousands of lives in the UK every year? Could you be someone who will contribute to one of Charles Haddon Spurgeon’s greatest legacies? To be part of a story that started over 150 years ago and is now ambitious to grow work with churches, councils and charities across England to provide a distinctive service to vulnerable children and families.

Our ambition and expectation is to be an excellent mission and values led organisation – a real shining light that role models what Christian charity means, and we need the right people on board to make that happen.

Working with the chief executive and trustees you will be someone who can provide organisational, administrative, research and creative support in a busy working environment. You will be able to anticipate needs and take initiative, and love juggling lots of tasks while being a great communicator and relator. The ability to sensitively manage key relationships, manage confidential information, oversee multiple deadlines and coordinate and prioritise workflow will be essential. The successful candidate will be multi-talented and while undertaking much work alone will also be at ease contributing to the wider team.

The job description outlines these opportunities. It’s a vital role. If you think it’s for you, we’d love you to get in touch.

Details of how to apply will be posted on Spurgeons website (https://www.spurgeons.org/). The closing date for applications is 28 October with interviews scheduled for 8 November.
